Things I love about Costa Rica

So here are a few things that I cannot get enough here in Costa Rica....

Yuca! It seriously is like my new favorite food, boiled, friend, baked, whatever, it's amazing!

Chocolate cheese. Yep, you read write, I tried chocolate cheese. It was a special treat before our second dance lesson. It come sin a brick just like cheese in the states and it is light brown in color. It basically tastes like chocolate cheese cake, but not as tart. It is the perfect little after dinner treat.

Rainbows morning, noon, and early evening. In the past 3 days I've seen like 6 rainbows. They are usually to the left of our dorms before breakfast, and then over the student union after our 2pm class, and sometimes can be seen around 5pm. They are so beautiful.

Sunshine on my face. Nothing is better then sitting in the rocking chair on the porch, with a good book, having a light sun warming my face. It's been cold the past several days, (and by cold I mean 60 degrees) and today it was bright, sunnny, and warm. It was still windy, but I was able to look past that.

I love being able to see a new animal on a regular basis. Today before dinner Scott caught a giant toad. And when I say giant, I really mean giant. This sucker was huge. We not only observed it but got to learn about it. It apparently has two poisonous glands behind it's ears that secret a toxin.

Basically, I just love Costa Rica.
